There are many factions that unlock special items and equipment for your character once you've earned their respect. Here are some examples:

Argent Dawn - Improve your faction with them to unlock special items and rewards. You can do this by completing quests in Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands, Stratholme, and Scholomance. Eastern Plaguelands are filled with wicked creatures of the Scourge that can drop items called Scourgestones if you are wearing a token of the Argent Dawn. These stones can be returned to representatives of the Argent Dawn in repeatable quests to increase your reputation. Check out the rewards here.

Now that the pre-Wrath of the Lich King Zombie Plague world event has reached phase 2. And it is obvious that this is no longer a Hallow's End event. The first phase started with mysterious crates appearing along the Booty Bay platforms. From there, fans would be spreading the plague throughout cities.

In many cases, the top (the tippy-top, the #1) team in a bracket is receiving the title of Duelist, when they should be getting Brutal Gladiator and their Netherdrake pets. Players with a rating of 2100 or higher are earning only the Challenger title in some cases, and I think it's very, very safe to say that those players would be in a bracket higher than just the top 35%. Season 4 is not exactly known for having a glut of people nearing the 2200 needed for shoulders.
